Hey guys I need some opinions. I painted my back emblem but now I cant decide if I should leave it off or put it back on.

Should I go with this?

I was going to put mine back on, but I liked the look of it off better. Plus easier to buff wit it not there.

how would i find the paint code so i can color match it to the blue of my tahoe? i really want to do this cuz i love cheap mods that make it look good. ive repainted the wiper arms and am going to do the rack so it looks good.

Paint code is in your glove box, printed on the sticker where your RPO codes are printed, on the bottom. Might look something like "U 9792" (my paint code).

That looks right, the U158A. If you're trying to purchase paint, some are listed out there as WA#### or U####, but they're the same thing. Anyways, the U158A designates your color as Atlantic Blue Metallic.

Haha, no problem man. Also, I think the other number you provided is the lower painted portion of your truck (since it looks to be a two-tone your sig pic). That would be Ultra Silver Metallic. In case you wanted to know that as well.

finally did mine... looks pretty good

first is before. second primer. and third all done gotta clear it i guess too

If anyone wants, for $10 shipped il send you my old Bowtie and paint it to any color you wish. Il do primer, 3 coats color, 3 coats clear. Just PM me.
