So I see that a hood fits perfectly fine back there with the seats folded down. I have always wondered about that. Wondering if I would have to put in in there on an angle with one side propped up on the side panel or something. So now I have more confidence about hauling an HD hood whenever I do find the right deal on one.

Was worried about that too that's why I ended up taking the pick up to get it. Good to know though for future reference. Looks like it fits side to side and not needed to go in at an angle

I had the same question. Did a little digging and found a thread where someone else did it. Fits flat no problem.

I scored a Driver Information Center off a 2002 Denali. Now I need to figure out how I am going to wire this thing up, and figure out a place to mount it and have it look COMPLETELY factory. I also need to figure out how the hell to even work this damn thing. Lol!
Whoever has a 01-02 Denali, please chime in and tell me how to use this thing. I found a wire diagram, but I still need to figure out how to access all the features this thing has. View attachment 191986
Doesn't that need to be wired into the obd?

And I have a Suburban, not a Tahoe. So I have even more room when I fold the second row seats flat and take the third row seat out. I KNOW I had the legnth, I was just wondering if the width was enough and it obviously is. When all my seats are flat, I can fit 4x8 sheets of plywood, and even 10 foot 2x6 boards if I lay them in the middle where the end rests on my center console. And it will ALL fit with the rear hatch COMPLETELY closed with no problem. That's one thing I do like about a Burban instead of a pickup. Try hauling 5 sheets of plywood and three 2x6 boards that are 10ft long. It will hang out the bed at LEAST 4 feet. The roof rack comes in VERY handy too. I have hauled 16ft boards on my roof before. Had it hanging forward out over the windshield and tied the front of the boards to the front bumper tow hooks. Worked like a charm. Try doing that in a crew cab Silverado! You will need a trailer or else a ladder rack to haul 16ft boards. I'm SOOO glad that I ended up getting my Suburban instead of a CC Silverado, because that's honestly what I really wanted, but I settled for the Burban because it was so much cheaper. And boy am I glad I did!! I have absolutely fallen in love with my Suburban, and I couldn't switch to a pickup now because I am too spoiled to having an SUV.
Sorry for being so long winded. I'm just bragging about how much I love my Burban compared to the CC truck that I originally wanted so badly. Lol!

YES. It's a ground, Ignition, Accessory power, Constant 12v, (no clue why it need 3 different power wires) power for the backlights, which will attach to the same circuit as the backlights in the cluster and everything else in the dash, then a speed sensor wire at the cluster, and the data wire in the OBD2 harness.
And I've already confirmed that the backlights are burned out, which isn't exactly a surprise, so I will be swapping in some blue LEDs of course.

what info specifically are you looking for on the usage?
Fuel - will give average fuel mileage and instant
Trip - will tell you miles you've driven since reset.
on/off will turn the display on/ off
menu will cycle through door lock, language, lights, etc options.
ill have to look for the rest if you want specific info

Well, my DIC doesn't exactly function like that. Not sure if it's because I am just bench testing it on my power supply. I don't have the speed sensor wire or the data wire hooked up yet because it's not in my truck yet. But the On/Off switch doesn't turn it off and on. To turn it on (or to at least get the screen to show anything) I have to press the MENU button. Then it toggles through some menu with language select, date and time set, and a few other things I can't recall off the top of my head.
I have the power, ignition, and accessory wire all just hooked to the 12v output on my power supply and the ground wire connected to the negative lead on my power supply. I'm hoping that it will "behave" correctly once I connect it properly in my truck. Otherwise, it's very likely that I have a defective unit being that I did get it from a junkyard truck that was exposed to the weather because the doors had no glass in them.

Hands down best carpet cleaner EVER!

View attachment 192129

I completely agree. The only stains I have found that Folex has trouble removing are really greasy/oily stains, or ink. LA Awesome is a great cheap chemical for getting the grease or ink based stains out. I buy Folex by the Gallon at Lowe's, it's about $15 a gallon. I use it in my vehicles, and in the house to clean the carpet and the couch.

I use that stuff in my house. It works amazing for a spot cleaner for cleaning up after let's and kids. I used it in my trunk to drastically remove some oil stains. It's not 100% but significantly better I need new carpet

Btw that is a crazy clean floor!!!

I've found that Folex doesn't COMPLETELY remove oily stains. When I get a stain like that, some LA AWESOME or Super Clean will finish up and usually get the rest of it out.

Where do you get that? Can it be run through a carpet machine? I tried my home carpet shampoo machine and it worked awesome but I did feel it wasn't strong enough of a detergent to get the stains out
