How are those that have replaced center caps getting them off? Sorry if redundant question, searched but found nothing.

Does it pop out from the inside once the wheel is removed? I know that's the way it was on my Ford and Volvo products.

Yup, you have to take the wheel off and pop it out from the inside.

Why would they change the design on that?! Seems like poor planning. The center caps on my NNBS 20s pop off from the front by putting a small flat head blade in and gently pulling it up.

On the NNBS 20s, you had to remove the center cap in order to access the lug nuts. The current wheels are set up like most other vehicles where the lug nuts are exposed.

I like that my wheels have covered lug nuts. They tend to trap a ton of water during wash step that has to be blown out. Saves a lot of time on my wash step, cuz I don’t have as much water to blow out of my wheels. lol.
some centercaps have a ring that must be removed from the inside first

Took a 20 oz. pop bottle and covered the bottom with 3M double-sided weathersripping/molding tape. Pressed the bottle end FIRMLY on the wheel center cap and yanked it out easily.

2016 Hoe w/std. 18" wheels. Cake.
