I can show you the bumper bolts in a couple hours if somebody doesn't beat me to it.
Thanks!

Not bad. That thread is ok, but it's not really thick enough to last. Gotta get the one with the teal colored spool.it was rather nice out, balmy 35º, no wind. so i sewed up that tear. wish i did beter work but its better then before.
the needles and thread i bought.

Take a bar clamp or any woodworking clamp and squeeze the foam, that’ll give you enough material to sew it tighter...without having to do 2 things at oncegot em at joanns fabric, i only took the small one out, didnt even look that close at the larger ones. 4.99 iirc.
was thinking i could re sew it as is, be a lot easier with it not being a gaping hole to start with.

Just dont sew it too close, follow same holes.
I don't pinch both ends together. I sew from one end, goijng from the inside out, to the other end, then pull both sides together.after i was back inside i was thinking them black spring paper clips would have worked well to pinch the seam shut. ill be trying a take 2 tomorrow lol
Like this.i was thinking pinch behind so it cant come loose on me. im a noob lol
my seam didnt come open, the leather tore off the edge of the seam. so i made my own holes on the top side. tried my hardest to reuse the seams holes.

Unfortunately I didn't get an after pic. Typical tear on these trucks.

By the hitch.
Thank you! Looks like I will have to take the bumper off like you said to get this cover off. I couldn't reach all the clips for the cover. GM can suck it for making something as small as changing the license plate bulb holder this difficult
Only if you spend the big bucks on a nice trim with the cover, lol!
On the up side, you can shoot your hitch with a coat of paint...
Yea I already hit it with some plastidip hahah
I think what I'm gonna do is get myself a harbor freight spray gun and get a pint of gm black and paint the bumper pads, bumper cover and bottom trim.... I've never use a spray gun before
