Nice man, that looks great.
thanks, now if I can just find a couple of the positive cable firewall retainers and a metal S clip that holds the coil harness on the bracket I'd be a little more un-pissed off right now

Not even Dorman? I went to look but there site is under maintenance right now.
nowhere, I spent about 2 1/2 hours searching every possible keyword, looking at pictures, looking up the cable to see if there were just the connectors anywhere, NOTHING
so I went ahead and bought the cable, I found it for $40 and it has 5 connectors I needed 2 so i'll have 3 extra, it would have cost me just as much to go out of town to the good junk yard anyway, somebody else did post a picture of some zipties with a hole mount that would work though, I have the better half of the coil harness "S" clip I am going to have a guy just tack weld a piece back on it and put it back on

hey if you guys in the super cold weather want to add a block heater they run about $60 online and if you have the aluminum block it goes on the drivers side front just under the head, if you poke you head down near the old battery location you can barely see where the block coolant plug where it goes

Some of you guys were talking about Maglites and the Stinger rechargeable flashlights in the truck either by the seat belt buckle, in the door, back of the seat, etc...

Here are a few pics from the NBS section about mounting that Maglite under the glove box. Not sure if it will apply to the NNBS, but worth a look/ideas.

Oil change to Castrol magnetec full synthetic. I like it. Made the lifters stop ticking on cold start. Might try 10w30 on next oil change.

Before I was using Castrol edge with a quart of Lucas added. Motor was actually noisier at start up with this combo.

Had this cable from the defroster pop off today, it’s been very cold the past week. Solder it back on?

I have the same problem. Mechanic recommend taking it to a glass shop. He couldn't get it glued back on and a previous fix also failed.

Common problem. I think there's a special kit to fix it. I don't know if it's as simple as just soldering it back on. The heat could break the glass or damage the film inside of it.

Google Frostfighter and buy their sub-$40 kit to repair this at home.

Their kit works well. I repaired my driver side tab connection months ago with excellent results.

Passenger side just cracked/snapped off days ago and I’ll fix it once temps get above freezing.

mine is going into the dealer shop to be "soldered" once I get it back presuming they can do it I am going to coat both sides with some Loctite 29329 epoxy which bonds to glass and is good for up 250deg, (dries clear) so that should keep them from ever coming off again, I don't know why they haven't decided to do the same in the last 20 years these stupid things have been breaking
