what is the best key fob to get any better than others

Best key fob? Pretty sure there aren't too many options. It's either OEM or one of the OEM copies available on Ebay.

I always like to upgrade to Escalade style fobs. Just got two brand new ones off Ebay for the wife's new Tahoe for around 80 bucks, or so.

I spent more for the two pack that came with key blanks. Home Depot gets $45 for a chip key, I had a local locksmith cut these for $4.

Bought two (2) aftermarket key fobs on eBay. Both stopped working after first drop on the ground. Don"t do it...

I also bought two key blanks and two key fobs off of ebay. The paint on the lock and unlock buttons are wearing off after two months. It was still worth the money I saved though.

This is the one I got, it’s got an esky symbol on the back but it really doesn’t make a difference to me. Works great and I have an 07 as well, can remote start from over 50 yards away

Not really sure what there really is to elaborate. Just buy an Escalade key fob, program it and you are good to go.

Not sure what year you have but this is what I did.
