Brakes done
New Pads and Rotors all around. The rears were paper thin, cracked in my hand.
Handled the e-Brake shoe that was deteriorated.
New axle seal (was leaking)
and... Another alignment (3rd since getting lowered)
I have a 6hr drive tomorrow so i wanted it her good for the trip and i will be able to test the alignment. It wasn't terrible, but it pulled to the right.

Gotta keep that rig in tip top shape, especially for trips! I did that with my xl before both trips to Vegas. Lol. The wheels look killer!
Wheels do look great.

Someone was actually selling a set of those locally for $200. They had them on their Suburban, but with no tires. I wanted bigger, that's why I never bought them. I guess I should've.

Went to Phoenix for work and drove back the same night = 400 quick miles in one day.
She still has a very slight pull to the right. Probably need one more alignment (4th) but from a different shop this time.
Also, Slight rubbing from the new brakes. Might be a backing plate. I thought it would be gone after the trip but it's still there. Plastered with bugs and a grille full of butterflies again. So of course i had to wash her up real quick. Couple fresh pics

The wheels really set it off. And the little touches of course...it's a Denali, u bar headlights, Esky rack, etc... etc..., but something about those wheels. And I usually don't care for the rivets around the inner lip, but they look tough and lowered. Yep!

I know you were playing with paint schemes and all... and I've never loved tan, beige, gold, whatever... But, man, that is a good looking truck.

Paint is really the last BIG thing i want to do on her. And it is real close to me saying, screw it and buy a compressor and just start prepping her for a spray. And i am still undecided on the scheme but i have a rough idea. and thanks man

Yeah, i am generally never a fan of 'all chrome' wheels. I will probably paint the faces and leave the lips/rivets chrome. Usually if you paint a chrome or silver wheel it looks smaller. I'm not sure how i'm going to do it quite yet. But i can say i Really love this vehicle. It sucks up gasoline like a chamois but everything else about it is so plentiful. :) thanks, Foss. I'm just trying to catch up to you. Always loved your Tahoe. It's so clean and it's the same way i like color matching etc..
