Got my tow mirrors on today.
I need to wire them up and level them still. I'll try to do that after work tomorrow.

The mirrors are good to go. Watched a vid on YT on where to make my connections so I didn't have to run the wires to the engine compartment.
The turn signal indicators are pretty f'n bright. They will definitely get peoples attention at night!
I had to level them. I couldn't stand them being winged up. You can see the difference in the pics.

Overall I'm very happy with the tow mirrors. I can see my surroundings much better, even if I'm not towing anything. I think it gives the truck a tougher look too.
It is simple, but its a PITA.....if that makes sense.Looks good brother, I still need to level mine out...I keep putting it off as easy as it is lol

Getting the right number of washers, getting them in place, shaving down the cap to fit...
It completely changes the look of the truck though.
If you lower the volume they wont keep blowing out.... lol...I haven't watched the video how to level them in a while, how many washers did you use and what size? maybe I'll tackle the mirrors after replacing all 4 door speakers...again

I used 2 washers...couldn't tell you what size. Had them left over from a light fixture I installed at work. They seemed to be a little thicker than most. The leveling vid I watched, the guy used 4-5, so it really depends on what you're working with.I haven't watched the video how to level them in a while, how many washers did you use and what size? maybe I'll tackle the mirrors after replacing all 4 door speakers...again
He did a great job cleaning that up. I just sent him a PM to see if he has another. Although I rebuilt my ls1fans.com harness to be beefier I'm thinking I'd like to use one of those.Got the OEM e-fan harness from @ScottyBoy today, just need to get the fans turned on in the PCM and get it tuned at the same time and the fans will be ready to go in

Here you go. I gave it a quick bath yesterday too
And the last one you can see I desperately need to do something about these seats.

I honestly have no idea why some years or models don't have a drain plug. If the newer ones don't have drain plugs then my guess would be that GM decided to just do away with it like they did away with cabin air filters. 75% of the transmission drain plugs seem to get installed too tight or they seize up for some reason. Either way, a LOT end up getting stripped out or rounded off and then you still end up having to drain it by dropping the pan, just like @Rocket Man described. I can definitely say that it honestly doesn't make that much of a difference. I have a drain plug on mine, (that isn't stripped out!) and the pan is still almost half full of fluid when I get the pan off. The drain plug does help, but I still have to keep the front bolts on and loose so I can tilt the pan and let it drain some more before dropping it all the way down
