Nope. On page 113 I showed the new QA1 I bought and installed that bends around the diff so a girdle can be used. It looks like it will clear by 1/2". Others have removed material from the girdle to clear but I wasn't comfortable with that.

Yes it would. And I still haven't heard back from the guy who wanted to buy it. I let him know I'll only hold it until high noon my time. These things never come up for sale used. I know, I waited months before deciding to buy a new one.Since it's adjustable, would it work for lifted trucks, too?
That's a sweet lookin girdle Red!I took it for a drive this morning (before I took any meds lol) and all seems fine. Nothing strange, no vibrations, shifted right. The only thing is the shifter is still a bit stiff between 1-2 because the mounting bracket got bent when the driveline came loose. A friend came over yesterday and straightened it as best as he could so I ordered a new bracket and will have it installed when it comes in. Next I need to get the TA girdle installed.
Lol, of course!View attachment 182279 You DO mean this one right?
The bike, I'm not sure yet. I had to email a whole lot of pages of parts that I had bought when I did the build over to the Harley Davidson Collision Center and they're working with my insurance adjuster to come up with an estimate. I'm not sure how that will go because I doubt the dealer has ever worked on a bike like mine. Full air suspension, rake kit, 26" front wheel. I couldn't even find anyone in Portland to mount my tire last time I replaced it. And I'm getting better especially in the last few days, down to just a few pain pills a day and able to do a few things. Today I washed The Beast and applied Top coat F11 so I should be able to just hose it off for a few months. My right shoulder is a bit sore afterward but a couple days ago that wouldn't have happened at all. And I need to put 2000 miles on it before it gets cold so I can do the post-break-in trans service. Might get a DD after that though. Looks like I have another bike sold so I'll have funds.Need a new d.d. Now
Btw i like it, it def is a beast red. Very nice work, clean build bud.
How bad is the bike?
How you feelin more important?
Damn!! That just sounds painful Red. Try to take it easy, or you'll never gonna heal.I installed the diff girdle today and it turned out to be harder than I thought since I had to pull the DJM swaybar. Go figure. Which was harder since the truck was on ramps and the suspension needed to hang to remove that. Wouldn't have been so bad if my wings weren't injured. I was finally almost done, refilling with Royal Purple, when I got my left arm in a weird position above my shoulder and it dislocated because of the fracture. I got my daughter to take me to the ER and they put it back in the socket. That hurt as much as when I crashed. Damn. Just hope I still don't need surgery.
Yep. I had no business being under my truck. No more. Just R&R from now on.Damn!! That just sounds painful Red. Try to take it easy, or you'll never gonna heal.
Oh hell no I'm not getting under my truck. My neighbor will though. I can barely hand him tools.
