My 5 Alarm Hoe

I placed the old carpet on top of the new carpet and cut it to size...huge pain in the ass!

Got all my wiring ran nice and neat under the new carpeting...also color coded both ends so I have no issues when it comes time to plugging everything in

First section of carpet down along with front and rear speaker wiring completed...this is the second and last time I will attempt installing new interior carpeting....huge pain in the ass!

Second section installed along with all the Escalade trim pieces...so far so good

Esky steering wheel/shifter need to be swapped to complete the look

To anyone who has attempted to lift the heavy awkward second row seating...this saved my back and lots of extra cursing! lol

Finally finished! she's officially an Escahoe lol

All new wiring rolled up nice and neat until I have time to install all the amps and subs

Job well done. I'm going to be doing the same thing tomorrow, but to my work van. Just bought another one that has nothing in it, so I have to swap EVERYTHING!! I'm not looking forward to it.

Nice @Cattivo .... been working like a dog lately but im going to make some calls tomo to see how much the 2 places i trust to swap motors for you..... damn i wish i had the time because i would def do it on my driveway for you.....just to be clear...what are we swapping? motor only or motor and trans, or motor, trans and trans case, or motor, trans, transcase and rears?....lmk

The hardest part is definitely done...I just need to tie in a few loose ends(wiring wise) and move onto the running boards and possibly fab something up to get the Esky 3rd break light to work

Then the engine transplant will begin

Thanks brother, it feels like I got a new truck lol...best part during the swap was anytime I lost or broke any parts or clips I just walked over and grabbed whatever I needed from the Escalade without a trip to the store

LOL Thanks brother... it wasn't easy working in the heat but the old carpet made me sick to my stomach every time I got into the truck every square inch was covered in nasty shit!
