Just got mine earlier this month. I have an 02 Tahoe, 5.3l LS. I got the 87-89 octane tune and my god it changes the feel of the truck. I have bigger mud tires and my 0-60 before the tune was 12.1 and after the tune I got 8.44 secondsCan anyone give me some insight on their experience With black bear tune for 2002 Chevy Tahoe ? Which tune did you get? In person, PCM swap, or scan cable?Just got mine earlier this month. I have an 02 Tahoe, 5.3l LS. I got the 87-89 octane tune and my god it changes the feel of the truck. I have bigger mud tires and my 0-60 before the tune was 12.1 and after the tune I got 8.44 seconds

That is what I want ideally, but they aren't coming anywhere near Savannah, GA for a while. In person
Then I would to the scan cable tune. You pay I think $250 for the scanner, they send it out, you plug it into the OBD 2 and download the files onto a computer and email them the files, they make changes and send them back and you pay $300 I think and you download the files onto the scanner then plug the scanner back in to put the files into the trucks computer. Then send the scanner back and you get your $250 back. So it ends up being about $300That is what I want ideally, but they aren't coming anywhere near Savannah, GA for a while.
That is probably just as good as the in person, huh? Then I would to the scan cable tune. It's pretty much the same thing, they just aren't sitting in your truck, which could be a disadvantage because they aren't feeling how the truck is reacting and how it's shifting, but I think it would be just as good. Better than the traditional tuneThat is probably just as good as the in person, huh?
