Good luck on the "new wives" hahaha

Yeah, mine is hydro boost too, I didn't suck the seafoam through the vacuum line, just dumped it in a new tank of gas. Hopefully the stutter at idle is just a tlc thing.
Lulz. Have one wife, don't need multiples. I'll play with it, if I can find a good vacuum hose to use I'll post up

Felt like I ran something over at work backing in to my spot. Got out and I could hear it... blah. During one of our spring snow storm's at that.

Today I pulled the Whipple again, discovered some of the O-Ring gaskets were f**ked instead of the lower intake ones I thought would be the problem. But I'm getting better at it- complete R&R in 8 hours. It's all back together except for the alternator and my new one is on the UPS truck. Waiting.

Edit: it's running again and so far so good. I won't know for sure until I send Justin a data log and he gets time to analyze it. You should see some of the gaskets, pics in my build thread. It's a wonder it was even running.

So still looking at cams, trying to find the best one
Here's the one I posted a few days ago
IMG_1343.PNG

I'm looking for low end torque and mid range power because I have bigger heavier tires and I'm not trying to drag race this truck. And this cams description is exactly that, but I just cam across this one

The RPM range is pretty much the same but a the specs are a little more "aggressive" I guess. To me it seems like the second one would be the best option. If it makes a difference, I will be changing my gear ratio to 4.56 and getting LT Headers and an off-road y pipe in the near future. Thanks for any help
Edit: forget the LT headers, I have 2 broken studs and I don't have the money for them right now

What ohm are the lux bose door speakers in the 01 Denali?
Yes that amp was used for the sub as well as the 8 satellite speakers. I still use mine for the satellites but went with a dedicated 450 watt monoblock for the JL 10" sub I installed. The sub in the Bose enclosure is around a 4 x 8 and it's 2 ohms, special size, can't be changed to a standard size. I mean, it sounds ok, just not real loud.

My 02 had 2 ohm Bose speakers; the 01 should be the same. I believe all the Bose are 2 ohms which are a bit harder to find. I replaced mine with JBL GTO628 which are 2 ohm but I see they're listed as unavailable although you might still find some. They fit perfect in front and rear doors.

I am going to make my long weekend a Taho work weekend !!! The other night solved my window switch problems!!! I checked for a broken wire initially and didn't find any. Replaced the switch and still nothing!! Looked again and found one small orange wire broke !! That one wire ran the whole drivers door.
Tomorrow install the caddy exhaust manifolds and cats. Then finally install the magnaflow cat back system I have had for 6 months. Then a good once over of the truck and a interior shampoo and detail.
And Probably more

Ok so she's back from the other mechanic. The 4wd problem was simply a blown fuse (which I couldn't find evidently), and in addition to the ABS controller (which they can have refurbished for $665 ) I have a vacuum leak (so I'm running lean) and my knock sensors and harness need to be replaced. After telling him about how I had replaced my transmission on my '96 2 door, he said he had full confidence that I could do everything myself. So one Saturday soon I'll fix my knock sensors, install new gaskets, clean my MAF, and, while I'm in there, maybe install a catchcan. But I'll save about a grand by doing everything myself, which is nice.
