BB tune... initial impressions. Oh my word... the gear changes are snappy and quick. Acceleration and throttle response like never before. Only had time for about a 5 mile drive but what a difference.

Thats what I'm talking about.....

Finally got around to installing the rear spacer 1.5 inch and now got it sitting just where I wanted it. Funny thing happened when I unbolted the D side sway bar link it just fell apart. Guess that was the sound I was hearing knocking around in the rear for the past few months. Also found out I need new rear shocks, no surprise but now I know for sure. Being able to push the shocks up and down with one hand with barely any resistance prolly means you should replace them. None on island so I need to order them. Also threw some new shoes 275.60.20 Nitto terra grapplers.

My '13 driverside rear shock was shot about 3 months into owning it. I bought it new and of course replaced under warranty but thats crazy. Seriously only highway miles at that point ....

Thanks and I replaced the front struts with the Bilstein adjustables, those are on the first notch and then I have 1 inch spacer on top of them. Rear is just the 1.5 inch spacer for the coils. Basically a leveling kit.

I still need to pull my rear door panels off to see if the speakers are even my issue. I don't have any sound from the front doors back. The rear doors and the far rear pillars are dead. I do get sound from the headphone jacks on the rear radio panel.

Gees so just the front tweets are working? Ughh. Thats got to be rough to hear.

I cant think of anything to help ya at the moment. Id think if it was the speakers or even the amp youd still get some sound. Since the headunit is what sends the signal... ive been out of the stereo game for way to long.

The drivers in both front doors work fine. So I'm good there. I just haven't gotten around to pulling the panels off the rear doors to see if it is even a speaker issue. I do not have the bose system so AFAIK I do not have an amp. I am hoping that the connectors are bad. Factory replacement speakers are only $20 bucks on Rock Auto.

$240 after the core refund for the BB tune. These were the modules I received.

I had them...

1) Correct for tire size
2) Requested standard/firm trans settings based on some background from me (don't know which they did but I feel like standard. Around town the average person wouldn't know a difference, at WOT the truck jumps into each gear and takes off.)
3) Torque Management - All engine TM removed. Trans has 75% removed during normal mode and 100% during sport mode.
4) Disable AFM
5) Do their magic... in general beyond what I'd requested above, I conveyed to them what my goals were and told them to use their expertise... Boy did they.

BTW. Truck is 5500 lbs dry spinning 70 lb, 33" tires and I spun the tires into 2nd gear going down hill onto the interstate this morning with just the TC turned off. Never thought it could do that.
