Installed a kindle fire and OBD Bluetooth adapter, I will go with a different layout for the gauges with The Torque app but it's amazing what all this stock program can do, it responds instantly with the adapter.View attachment 74265 View attachment 74266
Looks killer bro!
I've had this same plan ever since I got my Tahoe. Except I want the tablet up top and the deck down below.

Rather than start a new thread yet, figured I'd see what the NBS crowd thinks. Playing with maybe some exhaust tip ideas for the Tahoe. Stopped by the exhaust shop the other day and got some pics of this double wall, dual tip, polished set up. Angled forward and would have it cut so that it matches/lines up with the curve of the lower quarter and not sticking way out. Only chrome on the truck is the Esky rack and TBSS center caps. Figured it might look better than the OEM tip.

Didn't look good with just slash cut or rolled so of course the Corsa style caught my eye and the $$ is highest.

Owner came out with me to mock it up. Shop quoted $150 welded on.

Thoughts/input? Thx guys.

View attachment 74283 Started on the NNBS brake upgrade last night. I only got the driver's side done so far. It got dark and my back was KILLIN me, so I finished the driver's side and called it a night.
As easy as everyone says it is? I can't wait to do this upgrade. With an actual oem brake set up, not aftermarket . You're doing steel braided lines too right ?

I'm using the Powerstop black zinc rotors and powder coated calipers, and Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic pads, along with the Centric/StopTech braided steel brake lines. The brake line is what gave me the most hell. Replacing the caliper and rotor is super easy. Just pull the 01 parts off, and put the 07 parts in their place. The calipers actually are not too much bigger, but the rotors are very noticeably bigger. I still need to bleed it and go do the passenger side now.

So I know the NNBS brakes will fit with 17 inch wheels, but does anyone know if they'll fit on 16s? I intend to get bigger wheels and tires when I lift the truck, I'm just unsure as to whether I would also have to wait until then to do the brake upgrade.

Thx pics. Knew I had seen one somewhere. Nice to see it on another great looking NBS. Is it the Corsa ones specifically or a knock off (the one he had at the shop was just a knock off)?

I don't need the Corsa badge on there and actually prefer not to. Searched for the tips online, but by the time I buy it and he welds it, the cost would probably wash in the middle.

What do you polish yours with and how often? That question or issue has kept me from getting them for the NNBS based on claims of a PITA to keep clean (e.g. the SLP tips especially since I have cut off my resonator at this point)? @Countryboy07 Thx man.

Would the nnbs rotors work with the nbs calipers?

Guys have been saying the nnbs brakes are too big and they'll rub or grind the inside of the rims.
