Thx pics. Knew I had seen one somewhere. Nice to see it on another great looking NBS. Is it the Corsa ones specifically or a knock off (the one he had at the shop was just a knock off)?

I don't need the Corsa badge on there and actually prefer not to. Searched for the tips online, but by the time I buy it and he welds it, the cost would probably wash in the middle.

What do you polish yours with and how often? That question or issue has kept me from getting them for the NNBS based on claims of a PITA to keep clean (e.g. the SLP tips especially since I have cut off my resonator at this point)? @Countryboy07 Thx man.

It is a knock off. Got it off of Amazon for like $55 shipped. Have a link in my build thread, I'll copy it over here in a little bit.

As far as keeping it clean. I don't do as good of a job as I should... Just cleaned all the road tar off of it in those pics and polished it with never dull.

Edit: Here you go @Fosscore

Gf took it for a drive today, by herself. Oh yeah, she almost shit herself! Lol, went sideways a lil bit. She said 3 Tahoes tried catching up to her, and got all "what's up" nods! She said HUGE difference, duh! Too bad I wasn't with her for the fun.

Thx sir. That is a good price. Shoot, I could get one for each truck and maybe negotiate a welding deal from the shop. Nevr Dull is good stuff. Hmmm...

 The look on her face and/or heart rate would have been worth the price of admission. And the other Tahoes wondering why your GF was smoking them down the road with the lopey/growl. Sweet

CEL light came on last night. Took it to my buddy's shop to pull the code on the way home.

Checked the gas cap and then pulled the evap purge solenoid/ canister to see if maybe it was stuck.

Put it back in place and cleared the code. CEL gone for now, but will watch and if needed change that solenoid/canister out or check the one by the fuel tank.

Here's what we pulled off.

Going to get some electric fans and two tires tomorrow for the Hoe. Is there anything special I need from the seller to mount the fans or to make them work?

Rather than start a new thread yet, figured I'd see what the NBS crowd thinks. Playing with maybe some exhaust tip ideas for the Tahoe. Stopped by the exhaust shop the other day and got some pics of this double wall, dual tip, polished set up. Angled forward and would have it cut so that it matches/lines up with the curve of the lower quarter and not sticking way out. Only chrome on the truck is the Esky rack and TBSS center caps. Figured it might look better than the OEM tip.

Didn't look good with just slash cut or rolled so of course the Corsa style caught my eye and the $$ is highest.

Owner came out with me to mock it up. Shop quoted $150 welded on.

Thoughts/input? Thx guys.

Thx man. That looks great as well. You and Countryboy07 are making this decision a lot more convincing.

Just make sure you get it tucked up under there correctly. Cant stand a tip like that sticking out too far.

No sir. Will plan to keep it close and tight to the body lines with the the right distance from the quarter, tires and not too far down or out. You know OCD style of course. :)

That looks so badass brother! i wish i would of thought of that before spending hundreds of $ on 52mm gauges lol

That's the thing, gauges look cool but for the price of this setup and what it can do... you just can't beat it and you don't have to hack up the center console, they have all kinds of different external mounts.

SlowD that's awesome bud I'd love to know the process if you don't mind I actually have a brand new kindle fire still in the wrap it was for my youngest daughter but my brother jumped the gun and got her one so now it's just summing on my nightstand but I also have a new elm 327 Bluetooth adapter so I'd love to do what you did bud

Thanks man and I will get some pictures of the mount but basically you have to hack the shit out of the plastic behind the bezel and then cut out the bezel itself which is all easy to do but there is no turning back.
What you are trying to do is mount a thick flat piece of metal or thick plastic behind the bezel with screws or bolts, then attach the tablet to that and that can be accomplished a few different ways, heavy duty double sided tape, velcro or brackets.
I am still working out the kinks right now because I am getting my power from the stereo USB and since you cannot reach the power button on the side you will need a Bluetooth remote, they make very small compact ones cheap.
I am also going to hardwire the kindle to clean it up as well.

I will send you some pictures shortly.

Grab a already prewired harness to connect everything up (Blackbear or Nelson Performance)

Blackbear doesn't sell them anymore and will send you to www.LS1fans.com if you ask for one. That's where I got mine and it was super high quality. As far as mounting, there's just 1 bolt on each side near the top. I forget the size/thread but I believe it's listed in the tech section. And of course have the pin activated which I assume you have already had done @Tonyrodz ?
