I'm looking to lift the front end a little more and figures between these struts and my rc lower strut spacer I could find a nice height that doesn't give to bad of angels. Does anyone have any experience with what clip level gives how much lift. My lower ball joints have a little play so I figured since I'm doing that I might as well do better upper control arms to deal with the added angle (probably will be the rough country uppers) along with new inner and outer tie rods. Since I'm doing that I might as well do struts since I have 160k on it. I'd like to be somewhere around 3-3.5 inches of lift. I will get/make spacers to drop the front diff to.

Right now it has the lower spacer that gave it 1 3/4 and maybe a hair more lift up front nothing in the back. All 4 corners are 38" 275/60r20. I'd be putting a 2-3" spacer on the back depending on what I end up doing with the front. Planning on using a 2" wheel spacer and my stock wheels for now then 20x10 around -19 so they have a decent size lip and some 33/12.5 or a little larger if I can fit em.

I don't have them yet but that's what I'm going to be putting on pretty soon.

I just did the 5100s on top of a RC 2" front level. I also did Moog Springs and have a 1" rear spacer. My front 5100 struts are set on the first clip level up from stock.

Looks good. Exactly what I want to do, plus a body lift. How much lift did you get from being on clip one? Do you know the fender height and what size tires are those. Any complaints? Any front end suspension angle pics or

I got almost 1" from clip 1 (one up from the stock first clip setting). It rides a lot better than my shot autoride shocks and handles better in curves now. I'll have to take some pics of the angles but they are acceptable and everything from aligned correctly. I am considering aftermarket UCA's though for even better angles and more travel.

Fender measurements:

FR- 39"
FL- 39 1/4"
RR-40"
RL-40 1/2"

I'll have to take some pics of the angles but they are acceptable and everything from aligned correctly. I am considering aftermarket UCA's though for even better angles and more travel.

Mine with the 2" lower strut spacer and. 275/60r20 I'm 38" all around. That's the hight I was hoping to gain. Glad to see someone else with it. I'm planning on 2" rear coil spacer, upper control arms from rough country, and a cheap set of diff drop spacers. I'm going to be doing a 2 or 3 inch body lift along with it. Wanna run 35s if I can since have 33s on it now

Yea i might look into the differential drop also. It's a good idea to get as close to stock angles as possible.

Zone makes a 2 or 3" body lift that a buddy of mine used. It makes a big difference but be prepared to see a good bit of frame especially in the wheel wells. The tow hitch in the rear and tow hooks in the front also have to be moved to line up.

@JT 07LTZ that pic looks great and fender heights are tall too. How does the moog z71 springs feel with the firmer spring preload first notch up front?

Thanks man. The Moog Springs are definitely stiffer than stock in the rear but it feels more planted. I don't think the preload on the front struts has effected ride quality much. It rides so much better than the broken autoride did. There is a lot less body roll in corners too.

Yeah missed post about running 3" and then 2-3" body lift. It will be tight fit if 35s on x10 and lots of trim if x12s. Just giving you heads up

I know what I'm getting into. If it was for wheeling I'd never even think about it but it's for the street and nothing more than dirt roads or easy trails here and there. This GI stuffed 35s with 2.5/1.5 so with 3 inches more than this it should look alright. This is to stuffed for my liking. And I might end up with a tire that comes out to a 34x12 depending on pricing when the time comes.

Yeah I remember that hoe and the stuffing to clear 35s. Keep in mind the wider you go on wheels the more the tire with hit bumper and fender when turning. A smaller tire can help avoid some of the rub with a wider wheel. Keep us posted when you get it all together.

Will do. Rough country has a scratched/dented section on eBay. 45$ free shipping for a pair of wheel spacers. They are returns are blemished ones, only cosmetic issues. 90$ for a set of 4 shipped vs 160 shipped from rc including shipping
