That's my plan too is to get 07+ brakes. Mine aren't that bad, just need to be turned. Pads are decent.
But the upgrade is so easy it's hard to pass up.

So I've gotta do brakes on my 2006 pretty quick. Thinking about doing the 07+brake upgrade. What are the benefits of doing it? I don't know much about it but have heard alot of guys on here say they've done it.
Benefits: better braking with straight bolt ons
I'll let you know the extent of improvement once they're on

The new rotors, calipers, and pads made a difference. I can tell the truck stops more quickly, however I want a little more bite on the initial stopping power. I'll be adding the stainless flex lines next to see the additional improvement they add. I'll report again once stainless lines are installed and of course, I'll continue to monitor performance under varying conditions.

And on a separate note, I'm going back to the stock spindles in front. It's just too rough and looks lower now than it did before. Hopefully turning the torsion bar bolts down can keep it level.

Haven't installed the stainless lines yet, but I'm planning on putting this new cover on the driver seat tomorrow.

In order to get around after the hurricane, I had to put the seats back in the truck. I added the picture of the passenger seat installed in the previous post. The driver side foam cushion still hasn't arrived, but I had to put the seat back in with the old cover barely attached. It's only held down by 3 of the bolts and no electrical connections. And, I also installed a shorty antenna.

What happened to your Denali headlight on the passenger side?
Other than looking hazed over, nothing happened. I've got a set of black housing depo projectors sitting in the garage ready to be installed. After viewing your build thread, I think they're the same ones you have.

I took a shot of the driver side while in the vehicle, but this is the passenger seat.

I'm waiting on the driver side foam to come in, and my front two seats will be closer to new.
PS: getting the bolt holes to line up on the power seat controls was a little bit of a pain.
So jealous. My seats are toast.

Maybe it's just the angle from the pic but it looked like the regular yukon headlights. Anyways I wish I had bought the depot ones lol. I just bought a regular set from eBay. Overall I like them. Gonna swap the lowbeam bulbs out with leds here pretty quick and I gotta figure out how to do the mod so that my drls come on at night with my lights so that the halos come on at night as they are tied into the drls. Its funny cuz everyone thinks mine are smoked but they are actually not. The back of the housing is black so they look darker and gives it a nice contrast but they lens themselves aren't smoked.

Why don't you just tie the halos into the park lights like they're supposed to be? :doh2: !!!

You were right about them being regular Yukon lights. My truck isn't a Denali, but I've completed the front end conversion.

I got it from Amazon for less than $20. I very rarely listen to FM stations, but I took the stock antenna off months ago and just wanted something small to replace it. As for reception, I can't really comment since I only listened long enough to make sure it was picking up a station, but it sounded fine.
