Finally got around to installing the HD Front Grill. A little cutting and trimming and fits perfectly.
Now just undecided if I want to paint the trim to match since I'll be doing the same to the emblem.

Post a pic of your profile. I ended up color matching the entire front end and only accenting the bow tie to my wheels. Changed the entire look and complemented the HD hood that much more.

BTW looks really good.

Looking good. Are you planning on painting the chrome on the bumper too?

@Knope, I'm really up in the air on keeping the chrome or painting it.
maybe just paint the grill surround to match.

You've got a lot of options with that front end. So many ways you could go and they'll all look good. Can't wait for more progress

Got this bad boy on my door step this afternoon, went ahead put it all together sealed it with silicone so it's water tight, threw a few coats of adhesive promoter on there then sprayed it down with bedliner, waiting for it to fully dry now, then putting the air dam on it. Patiently waiting to get my rig outta the shop tomorrow from getting my TransGo shift kit and corvette servo installed, my AirRaid MIT should arrive tomorrow afternoon as well as my new Jounce bumpers. I'll post pictures tomorrow of the finished product on the truck.

Is the servo a big noticeable difference? Is it worth it?

I couldn't tell you if the servo alone is that much of a difference, from what I know the servo firms up your 1-2,
I did the TransGo shift kit along with it all at once. It's mean now, (2wd) feels like I got a dyno tune in comparison to stock. So happy with it! Can't wait to get some more air to my engine, since I've been running an Mbrp cat back for a while now. I'm not expecting a "huge boost" in power from the AirRaid JR (throwing that on tomorrow) BUT if I were to gain even a little more throttle response off of it that would be great

Couple weeks from now I'm getting my 4.11 gears and a Local dyno tune from guys who specialize in GM cars/trucks that will be when I really notice a serious difference in driveablity, since I'm going from Highway gears(3.23 dog) to 4.11 BEAST

Yes it is. I installed mine in my driveway in 30 mins. They cost like $20.

Every single one of these 4l60e trucks should have come with them from the factory.

Is the difference enormous? No, but you can feel it when you are on the throttle.

With hight miliage the servo would probably help and cause less slipping when shifting and less heat from the slipping and prolong the life a bit longer. :2cents:
Interesting :hmm:. What info do I need to pick one up? Gonna hit Amazon up.

Year of truck. Make of tranny and it comes with instructions but not the greatest. YouTube has a ton of good videos. Hardest part is changing it. The heat shield and cats make it difficult. But over all not too bad.
