So have the projectors apart to paint the shroud for a demon eye look while projectors are off. Undecided on what color I want. A choice of white , red , blue , black. My truck is blue and headlights will be all black. Leaning towards blue or black.image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

BTW, super nice work in the hibernation den. Glad I could contribute to some of that work. Now here is a challenge and you are just the man to mock it up and mess around with it. I want to see you mock up some bright ass lightbar/lights/pods, etc... that fills the OEM fog light gap and all the way over to the gap that houses the tow hooks. Just spitballing to see what you might come up with. Be more like a swath of light in front of the NBS. Mini fog light bars. Would solve that worthless output from the NBS OEM fogs.
No that's too much for me, not a fan of light bars or pods personally. I already have the projector fogs and if I take those hooks out I'll need them one day in a snow storm and won't have them
Speaking of....

Painted the chrome housing so it's less noticeble.
Had to figure out spacing in order to use the stock fog brackets. Shaved/trimmed around the mounting spot I picked.

Used what I could find as mocking up a spacer so the light sits low enough to sit inside the fog opening evenly

Had some extra random plastic pieces. Used one and cut it for a spacer received_1890347397662596.jpeg received_1890347387662597.jpeg

Took off the lower lip. Had sprayed plastidip glossifier over it. Looked like crap. I do not recommend glossifier out of the can. You can see the raw plastic has more gloss lolreceived_1890346920995977.jpeg received_1890346590996010.jpeg received_1890346577662678.jpeg

You think those fogs will take a beating, just because they are so low....since they are projectors whatdaya think of a plexiglass cover in front of them cut to shape of pastic bumper cutout?
