Your luck with code scanners

Any recommendations for code scanners? Got a 2007 Denali. I want to check, log, clear codes.

I've never had an issue with even the cheapies from autozone. My superchips tuner does it all as well

Even the cheap autozone reader will tell you if all systems are ready, which sensors still aren't turned on after clearing codes, etc

I wish one of these scanners would also work the bcm functions too like trouble shooting air bag or door triggers

I sublet work inside dealerships so I can grab theirs for free when needed. Just a pain sometimes when I need to check a code or something over a weekend or something like that when a trip to a GM dealership isn't convenient

Some of the innova scanners have higher functions similar to much more costly scanners. I've used a couple they aren't a snap on solus or anything but they are nice. If you just want to read and clear codes the actron pocket scanner works great but falls short on higher end cars and unless you get the more expensive version it also can't read the history or display live data.

Autoenginuity w gm enhanced is a nice option

i have a solus. there are quite a few GM functions that it won't even do!!!
