NBS is my second favorite. They are much nicer trucks as far as comfort and hope to build a crew cab one day.

That engine bay is clean. I also like the instrument cluster.

I cant remember, did they switch from the circular gauges in 1990 or 1991? My dad had an '89 step side when I was a little kid. I thought that style speedo was coolest thing ever. I was born in '87 and he sold that truck in '91 when his new '92 came in (I was VERY young). I cried when he sold that truck. My dad still tells that story to this day.

I believe 91, because the 90 cluster looks like 88-89 on the 454. Mine was swapped to a Dakota digital setup so it’s more modern now.

A buddy of mine has a 93 Silverado with a 4/6 drop and is fixing to order wheels. Do you remember what backspacing you went with cause I know that is very important on these trucks?

I can check, but it wasn’t the standard backspace used. I had these wheels designed around the brakes for clearance and the ability to keep the wheel as flush to the fender and maintain clearance.

Looks like 6” BS in front wheel and 6.25” in rear. Not sure if they shaved the back pad down to where it would clear the caliper by a fraction or not. I just know I asked for the biggest rear lip I could fit given the suspension setup and brake caliper size.
