Hello everyone ! I recently did a 3.5 inch lift on my 2021 suburban HIGH COUNTRY and my drivers side axle boot ripped already… I was looking into getting the one from the trail boss Silverado because it has a factory 2 inch lift so it’s a bit longer… is that ok? Would it fit ? Or just stick with the factory one??
Suburban part # 84754391

Trail boss part # is 85134026

Thank you very much I am very new to this…

I would want to see them in person side by side before purchasing them to be sure all the splines and mounts are the same. Hell, they may be the same damn length.

Also, even if they are longer, i dont think that is gonna prevent that from happening again.

Nice looking ride! 35x12.5/20’s?

You don’t think the extra length would put less tension on them ? And yes sir !! 35/12.5/20 MT Baja BOSS tires

I dont see how it would possibly change the angle of the shaft (rubber boot) enough to make a lick of a difference. Im assuming the original one already let loose because the angle is too steep.

I am guessing for that amount of lift there probably should be some type of differential drop to get the angles back in check.
