I have a 95 Tahoe and it was raining today so I put the wipers on and notice there making this noise so I look at the wipers and every now and then when they go up and down too, it kinda shakes and doesn't go up or down smooth, is only the driver-side wiper the pass side one goes up and down fine, it only does it in the lower speeds put it on high and for the most part it is fine only does it occasionally, does anyone know what the problem is? and also the wiper blades are 2months old and they turn on and off fine, thanks for the help

Is the wiper blades contaminated some how causing chattering? Maybe some sticky film on glass that you can't see? Check that first.

well I waxed the truck over the weekend and used rain-x on the windows so they were clean went outside just now and took a clean towel wiped the blade off, ran my hand over the window and don't seem to feel anything sticky, and it is still doing it

my driver side wiper does the same thing, but it seems a lot worse then yours, im guessing something is worn out in there, if its like my jeep was then i think they have bushings that wear out eventually

to remove the cowl it looks like you gotta take off the wiper arms, how do you go about doing that? I think I have seen a tool before for that too in LMC maybe.
