Window deflectors tape on/in channel

I have tape on window deflectors on my 09 Altima and had on 07 Tahoe LTZ, also have in channel on my Volvo semi. Reason why is because i like fresh air and i smoke. Now im lookin for deflectos for my 16 Denali. AVS have 4 pc smoke tape on 94514 and in channel 194514. Tape on will cover chrome strip an would look bad. With in channel people have lot of issues with AVS brand. I just talked with Weathertech and asked why they offer only front pair dark smoke 80750 and light smoke 70750. They said rear ones are still in testing becuse they had problems with rear not saying in channel. Any one else tried different brand in channel ones?
