Hello...
I don't know about the factory wifi option (other than it would be an installed device from dealer), but I use a Verizon MiFi puck. This is a mobile device that can be moved from one location to another (car, home, etc). It serves my purpose well. I use it in the vehicle when traveling then take it out to use in the house (we have a second home). works very well and It is not 'married' to the vehicle.

we use the straight talk hotspot and for music and browsing it's ok, video is not very good. I'd like to find something with a better antenna / receiver tho.

My phone is a hotspot, only way to fly.
Not available until second half this year. Uses the onstar module as a link to the web, and allows users to connect via wifi.
