Why not to use this manifold?

Hi all,

I have been thinking for some time why we don't or didn't use the manifold and injection system from the late 90's 350 engine out of the capriss or the Road master

Here one of things I found :

While it might fit on the non vortec tbi engines you still have a major issue of trying to control 8 injectors with a tbi computer. It would not work on vortec heads tho.

Hmmm OK how about the SS Caprice engine late 90s I remember it use something similar to this + 350 engine

Can we use the wires and engine computer from it?

I remember the road master was a monster

OK, I did a research about the late 90 Camaro it seems the engine was an LT1

Is it relative to the L31?

But the HP was 275 !! (Not much!)

From 98 they used the LS1 and got 325hp hmmm

This swap should be interesting right? (The LS1)

LT1/LT4 are totally different engine generations, you can't swap much between them and std small blocks and even less between them ans LS engines.

So how can I get my L31 the extra HP?

A friend of mine has a 2010 Sierra 6.0 2500 he did some modification and now he is enjoying the 316hp on wheel (Dino tested) now I want to be able to race him and get more HP to out perform his truck

Headers, cam, some head work and a tune will get you close.

Just curious, what is the make, model and year of the vehicle that that intake came from?

Anything with an LT1 or LT4, mid 90s Vettes, Camaros, Impalas ...
