It's been awhile since I have posted an update. Finally got the door skins painted and installed. I also put in a 1700 watt Kenwood system with Rockford components and 10" Alpine in a custom enclosure under the seats. I'm also switching out all of the bulbs with LED.

What's left? Gotta paint the inserts behind the door handles and A pillars and install. I also gotta touch up the back door black insert above the handle as I got a little peeling.

Most of the paint adhered to the door rubber surprisingly well, but I didnt prep the inserts as well as I could have.

Later this year, I am going to pull the seats again, spray them white once more and then use a clear coat designed for leather to seal it all in.

Forgive the mess, I am off to vacuum later this week

Here is a before and WIP

I stripped out the interior down to the metal, cleaned it all up extensively and removed and filled the brackets for the third row (which I will never use)

The went in the off-brand dynamat and finally the carpet.

Lesson learned for next time: Do the audio install with the carpet out next time. Will save tons of time and pain.

Here is some more WIP where I had to fix all of the cabling for the 2nd row seats that allowed them to recline and the head rests to drop.

The console looks like its different shades of white, but in real life I cant really see it. Maybe its the camera or something.

I covered the lower dash kick panels with white pleather....might just paint if I had to do it over. Looks nice, but man was that a ton of extra work.

The headliner was def not a 1 person job (even though I did it that way) and it soaked up a ton of that black paint, but looks nice and dark in the vehicle. Again, the camera picked up some lines, but I can't see them with my eyes. And hey, it was a budget build anyway :)

Also nice shot of the custom box. The head unit has wireless android auto (so worth the cost!) and a backup camera. The stereo sounds better than my Lincoln Navi with the Black Label 20 speaker Revel system. It's not even close

Now comes the fun part: In a few months will install the efans. I also need a new set of shocks and I will most likely do the 4/6 drop (or maybe 2/4 who knows.) I also need to get some new big brakes going. Money pit!

At least when I get that done, I can upgrade to a performance transmission before we start messing with the engine.

Really, really nice!!

I'm sure that it took hours and hours of hard work.

I hope that you are as pleased with it, to justify that amount of time to achieve it.

Keeping the white color clean will now be the ongoing challenge.

Yeah, I plan on pulling the seats after this winter and hitting them again with several more coats of white paint. Then I will use a clear sealer.

Last pass, I just wanted them white and in the car.

They look cream color in the photos, but I can assure you, they are paper white.

I used Stock Interiors

Color: 1001-Black Ultra-Plush Cut Pile

The upgraded carpet, and yes, its so smooth and cool that it feels like its moist. Really glad I went with the thicker version.
