what tire size! plzzz help

wildbill i have 17x8's with an off set of about an inch and a backspace of a 5.5, i was thinking maybe 295/70/17's or should i just stick to a true 33?

With 5.5" backspacing and a 295 width, you should be ok if any rubbing it will be minor. I run 33x11 (275 width) and in reverse, full turn, and backing up a hill it rubs a tiny bit.

black, my 285s scrubbed the other day, i was pulling off a main road, onto a incline driveway. the left rear tire scrubbed. it wasnt that bad, but since you only have a leveling kit, the rear of your truck should sit just like mine does

Im running 285/75/16 bfg km2. Stock keys cranked and minor triming. 2001 tahoe

I just put Nitto Trail 305/55/20 on mine which are 33.39" and all I have is Z71 springs in the rear, and 2-3inch lift keys in the front. Sits at 38" all around. Had to trim some of the fender well splash shield on the front drivers side where the washer fluid tank is, but that's it.
