Noticed these cut wires today.
Does anyone know what it was for?

That's the heated wiper fluid. There was a recall since it was catching on fire. They would remove the heat pump and refund the owners a little money. I guess they just cut your wires.. lol

When I had mine removed they wrote me a check for like $100 IIRC. There is an aftermarket version that you can buy that directly clips in if you want to keep the feature. I bought it and replaced it easily by myself. Guess you can't really do that since they just cut the wires...

I don't need to replace it. I live in Phoenix, so that's not a problem here.
I guess that's why the previous owner just cut them off like that.
