Ordered a new Head Unit (Pioneer DEH-6400BT) for the Caprice today as well as ordered an amp kit. Will most likely get an amp bought tomorrow.

Not sure if I'll run a sub or two or not yet. The amp is to run the components and 7x10's. The speakers should sound pretty good on their own. We'll see once they're installed if I feel like I need any extra oomph or not.

Got the AC recharged this morning and got my amp ordered this afternoon on the Caprice.

Tomorrow will be starter replacement, oil changing and washing of the '77. Will be a chilly morning on the driveway but that'll be ok

Dual spin techs installed, some welded plates in the bay to cover up where heater core was, offload seats ordered, roll cage and harness bars have started to be built.

on the '77 today I put in a new starter, took my boys on rides and then washed it. It's almost ready for the summer

It was either free or pay the double price for a capable one. Maybe on the next one I will. I don't drive the truck all that often but really haven't noticed it regen

I hear ya! Yeah if your not paying much attention, it's hard to notice the regen! It normally regens about 1x per tank.
