I have a 2010 and just purchased some LEDs on eBay for my hi/low beams. My problem is both Hi/Low beams don't fit b/c of the frase behind the headlight housing. The 5202 Hi bermas didn't fit at all b/c of the frame on the back of the headlight housing. The h11 low beams mangad to fit but at a slant do to the frame behind the housing.

My questions are: Do LEDs fit at all on my Tahoe(without cutting goles into the frames)?
Is there a specific lenght the LEDs have to stick out from the housing to fit between the frame?
Are HIDs the better way to go for the Hi/Low beams?

If you guys can give some tips or answers that be awsome. Cheers.

In my experience, unless you upgrade to true OEM projector housings (https://blackflamecustoms.com/) you should stick with halogen. I've had LED's in my 2012 Yukon in the standard reflector housing and I literally couldn't see the road at night becase there was so much glare the light was scattered everywhere!

I know this doesn't really answer your questions, but I thought it might be helpful.

For fog light, I'd just replace the whole unit (https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...evrolet+Tahoe&preselect=&preselect_restrict=1) instead of just the bulb. I have that fog light unit on my trunk and they are killer!! This is a pic from inside my yukon with JUST the fogs on:

Thank you, thats helpful. I am looking into purchasiing some new Spyder Headlights w/ projector housing. But I do want to keep my OEM headlights and install LEDs, if possible, incase I get bored of the new Headlights. Idk if its possible, do to the frame behind the housing. Hopefuly I don't have the same problem with the new headlights.

Best of luck! My dad's Tahoe had Spyder when he purchased it and they are cheap and the quality certainly follows suit. Also let me know if you do led bulbs in your stock reflector housing and let me know how it turns out. Curious if it's as bad as my experience was. For a very good halogen bulb if you stick with halogen in your reflectors instead of LED, I've been very happy with the Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs. Great color, great output, great length.
