What do you feed your truck?

im an Exxon/Mobil guy and refuse to put anything else in my truck. I put regular in my 2002 and super in my 2016. What you folks using out there?

This gold tinted liquid that comes out of these pumps at my local convenience store.
I use whatever gas station i come to when i need gas. I fill up before it drops below 1/4 tank and i only stop going to a gas station when my vehicle has issues with the gas from thier station. On that note ive stopped using "US gas" stations and "pump n pantry" gas stations. Gasoline is gasoline i see it only depends on the condition of thier tanks and if that specific station does underhanded tricks to get more money. One station up where i used to live was caught putting water in thier gasoline tanks on purpose.

I feed whatever is coming out of the tanks at my local station.........as there is only a relatively small handful of points of origin for all the many filling stations in the whole country.

Since mine gets driven once or twice a week, I use non-ethanol from a station not far from me (even though mine's a FlexFuel). If I'm on a trip and gonna burn the gas, I get Valero (cuz it's 'Murican) or Chevron or Texaco for the Techron. I also look for stations that are newer or that have newer concrete over their tanks for lesser chance of getting contaminated fuel. I use 87 octane because it's a waste to use anything higher in an engine designed for 87.

Typically fill up from the local grocery store gas station down the road since we get reward savings at the pump. Mostly fill with 87 octane with the occasional 89 octane fill up in between. Just don't see the point in putting 91 octane in the tank when I have the 5.3L designed for 87 octane.

if it says run super unleaded in the manual then run superunleaded if it says run regular then run regular yer wasting yer money if your running super when it only requires regular
higher octane doesnt mean better gas 87 89 and 91 or 93 octane is all the same quality higher octane means higher heat tolerance
big oil has always advertised as one being better then the other witch is totally false and misleading
hi compression ratioed engines generate much more heat ergo they require usually 91 octane witch is more heat tolerant to get proper combustion otherwise with 87 octane wich has a lower heat tolerance in hi compression engine you get pre detonation or pre ignition now most newer cars today with higher tuned engines will automatically adjust timing for lower octane fuel to prevent dameage to the engine

91 octane ETHANOL FREE from "local grocery store gas station". They seem to be the only ones who offer ethanol free here. Ethanol free seems to run better and get higher fuel economy in direct injection engines.

because ethnol doesnt give off as much energy and pure gasoline does BTU is the measurement thats used
pure gas has an energy content of like 112k Btu
ethanol is like 70k btu

Most of the time I use Mobil for the plenty points and the half way decent touchless carwash they have. I use it in between when I give it a good hand wash. I tried gas from a local Sam's club, but my MPG dropped. So I try and stick with Exxon/Mobil 93.

SAMs club isn't considered a top teir gas brand. I try to stay with shell, Mobil, Exxon.

Shell 87 which is mid grade here. Although truck is a flex fuel is have never ran e85 myself.

Top tier and bottom tier still get their gas from the same terminals here in NY. The truck pulls up gives their account number and gets filled. Never knew a driver to put in the additives and unless they are doing it at the full station I can't see how the additives are getting in.

Sorry forgot to mention I think mobile is the only fill station that has their own dedicated lines and pumps.
