I drove it. The ride feels soft and buttery smooth compared to my DD I need some NNBS 20s or GM accessory 22s baaad.

Did the oil change, cleaned the wheels up again and added some chrome polish. They are perty shiny.

Added Z-71 backup rack lights

New to the forum, it is great so far! Took some of the infor I found here to do the mod. Here's how it turned out.

Light Choice Pilot Halogens:


Dremel time, no turning back!


Time to make room, pucker factor cut and grind:

Follow-up: Z71 roof rack lights

These are the follow ups to the Z71 Roof rack light mod.

Pretty clean if I do say so myself!


Lot's of hatch clearance!


These REALLY light up the area when I backup!


I hooked these up to an independat switch hidden in the console. I did not want them flashing everytime I put it in drive. Thanks for viewing, I hope you like the mod!

An old coworker changed his fogs to 3000 and they looked awesome!! Super bright and actually pretty sweet looking!

At the time being I'm in search of an hd hood and a pewter grille that someone will trade me! I'd like to get paintable bumpers so I can have 0 chrome on the entire truck but no luck so far.... So I'll just paint the stuff I can!

Ah I see good idea. Look for Z71 nbs tahoe parts for the front end as they're already color matched! Hd hood will look ******* amazing on your truck.

Got harassed again today by the CHP's for my window tint and the tinted windshield. Dude told me "I have to take it off and have a CHP sign off on it.." so I'm gonna just get some blank front windows from a salvage yard over in Sacramento and swap in some clear glass, get signed off, and then swap the tinted windows back in.
