I didnt even ahve a good roof rack. It was the same one that is on the OBS tahoe's. It was all faded and gross so it had to go. I really want to get a Z71 rack.

Went to the muffler shop on Tuesday to get my catalytic converter replaced to fix my check engine light code (P0430 Catalyst system below threshold bank 2).
While I was there the tech ended up talking me into getting a dual exhaust done since he gave me a good package deal price. About $100 off regular price since Im a regular there. I had planned to get it done at some point, but couldnt pass up the good deal.
So I got 2 Magnaflow mufflers with dual dump exit exhaust. It sounds amazing, here are the pix:

Looks good--prolly did that so they wouldn't bang together due to the expansion and contraction of them...nothing worse than exhaust rattle heard over a new exhaust.

Yeah, that's what I figured!! I first looked at the pic and thought that they seemed to be touching each other but I saw the weld and figured all is good!

Yup they know what theyre doing @ that shop, thats why I go there. Always A+ quality work.
If anyone in SoCal is looking for a muffler shop, Mike's Exhaust in L.A. is the place to go...

Modified my new tails for the barn doors and installed them. Didn't even lose the reflector!

Debadged, and took the ugly silver pinstripe off the truck today... Also did the hidden antenna mod. Waiting on the replacement piece to come in to cover up the hole that's left behind.

Looks so much better without the pinstripe!

That is cool. A write up for those that have barn doors would be intersting.

Nice work! :Handshake:

Thanks! I wanted to do LED lights, but budget prevailed. I might still install some 3157 LED Spider bulbs eventually. I may do a quick write up on this, but if anyone is interested, just pm me and I'll tell ya what lights I ordered and what I had to cut away to clear the hinges. Total mod time took about 10 minutes from starting the dremel to resetting the reflectors and sealing them.

Replaced my drivers side inner tie rod end today. Had about 1/8" play at the ball. Truck doesn't wander on the highway now!
