sumo-- do you have any pics of the black calipers. Pondering doing red or black.
its kinda hard to see further away because they are black and behind the wheel is dark.

Did the rear kit or the shocks eliminate the rubbing? I have a little rubbing in the rear but only when I turn...........wierd

It was the rear kit. The trailing arm brackets that come with it help to move your rear wheels back to the rear. When you lower these things the rear wheels move forward. I had the same problem as you, it woulds just rub when I turned.

new bigger tires and rear hardware kit...

i installed 305/40/22s and rear hardware kit. previously on 275/35/22s because i was planning on bagging it to lay frame. but after riding around on them tires for a year on these busted ass roads here in wichita, decided that wasnt an option for my dd. not too pleased with the rear hardware kit, didnt seem to move my axle at all. i guess i should have measured before and after, but judging from the pics it still looks too far forward. also ive played with the keys quite a bit but i cant dial in the right heigt. drivers side front and rear is exactly 32.5", and pass side right at 33"... any ideas??

I like it, much better than stock hahaha. they said it will get a bit louder when it breaks in.

Yeah, that's most likely true at least that's what I've experienced with the 40 series mufflers. Still haven't decided on what muffler to eventually put on the Burb so that's why I ask. I know I don't want to go as loud as a 40 series so I've tossed around a Magnaflow, MBRP or a 50 series

it's a 3 chamber, the 40 is a 2 chamber, the magnaflow I believe is insulatedJust different tones..
I leave for work at 5 am and the wife takes it 1 day a week so I couldn't go to loud.
I went on youtube and searched and listened to tons of trucks with all different mufflers.

also got back from a long trip and am happy to say the money I spent on new cats, plugs, wires and O2s got my mileage up some. Was able to make it 400 miles on the last tank where as before I could only get 350 to a tank at most on freeway, around town went from 240 a tank to 270

How does a shop put the wrong magnaflow on? Was it for a completely different vehicle?

I told them to order it last friday. I wanted the 5x11x22, which is what i had on my old tahoe. The guy wrote it down and told me it would be about $110 to get it and have it installed. I think what happened was, he later realized that the muffler i wanted was about $25 more expensive than the one he was thinking about. Rather than calling me and going up on the price, he just ordered the smaller 4x9x18 and decided to not tell me.

Can't complain too much though, i like this muffler better than the larger one i had.
