yes but it was the bad sensor (I just wanted to check if it was a connection issue as it looked good visually)...

the new/used GM sensor arrived yesterday and I replaced it after wiping it down and giving the pis a shot of deoxIT D5 cleaner preservative...reattached the battery and started the Denali...no air bag light and no air bag error message.

I then ran another BlueDriver scan (after removing the in memory air bag fail message) and got a clean bill of health for the air bags...

this is a pic of the original one...the newer/replacement one looked like it had a 2010 manufacture date if I read the "clock" embossed into it...

Can you send a link to which ebay seller you bought from? I need to replace both of my crash sensors as well, they are starting to crack.

Scratching my head a little bit this morning...

I have a power steering whine but only when I turn left. Fluid is full, pump is relatively newer, lines aren't leaking (minor wetness due to age), front end parts are new (as of 4 months ago) and greased properly. I cannot find why this only happens when turning left. I don't notice it being more stiff or hard to turn than before the noise started. I can't pinpoint the issue at the moment, any suggestions? I'm not well educated in hydroboost equipped vehicles so I've yet to check into that. Thanks for the help!

Are you sure that not the belt makes the noise?
Normal wise the pump makes the sound when you for example have not enough oil in the system. But then it is equal if you steer left or right. But it is possible that you need more energy to steer right than left for example if you have alignment problems and then a belt could properly make noise in one direction, but not in the other.
