Turned on the ac today and it's not working, but the little ac light is on steady like it is--it's not blinking. I don't hear or feel the clutch engaging. Any ideas? I'd think if the ac tensioner seized up I'd hear or feel it, that happened once before. The compressor was replaced once before with new--thx to @mountie :waytogo:.

I swear I saw someone had installed a Grant steering wheel just the other day, but can’t find the post.. I was looking on their website, and tbh, it sucks. Someone have a link to this replacement wheel for our GMT800 with the steering wheel controls..?

Replaced the blend door actuator, and it wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be. Rockauto to the rescue. I also started collecting parts from Amazon to do a hydroboost conversion on the Tahoe and Silverado.

FYI--Here's a video of the wheel removal--just in case.

Good video I might need that later this week. I'm going for hopefully the final alignment Thursday but last time the guy said he thinks I may need to clock the wheel a hair to correct its position. We will see how straight it is with the new alignment bushings and what not.

Driving home yesterday my steering didn't feel good. It would go back to center after turning but it felt loose and light now. I had an alignment not too long ago but I haven't really done any highway driving until now. Gonna get it checked this Tuesday. Sux.

This is the 1st time I've been on a highway since it's been aligned. I kind of felt it driving away after the alignment was done but I thought it was just because of the tire swap--having to get used to it again.

Yes, also a little twitchy too I think. Have any ideas I could tell these guys to tighten or adjust? Or is it calling for parts replacement you think?

Well mines needed the Belltech bushing kit for the UCAs. You grind the adjustment slots a few millimeters then press in new bushings. Should give you another 2-3*of caster adjustment which is what mine needed. I just haven't gotten to go get it aligned and checked yet. I maxed out both adjustments when I did the new bushings and it already feels better, curious to know what the machines says.

Thought the steering wheel was “keyed” so that it goes on in only one spot? Unless he was talking about a different spot to move the wheel?

Not 100% sure, hard to find pictures of it but it looks like it's just splined evenly all the way around from one video I watched. Guess I will find out if the alignment doesn't straighten it out.

But they didn't have the Belltech alignment bushing kit installed did they?

You may not need them I didn't feel like I did until I did the coilovers which may have lowered it more than I know. Like an idiot, I forgot to take before measurements.

I didn't get the Belltech kit, just a stock setup.
