How in the world do you adjust the Depo Headlights.

I know there is a screw facing front and one facing the bottom. (I’m assuming I have to take the lights off repeatedly to adjust the bottom screw).

I can’t seem to get any of my screw drivers to adjust the top side screw. I have to guess I am missing something.

Probably a Torx or Allen head, I know the Depos on my NNBS Silverado use torx.

If possible, reuse your oem mounting hardware on the new lights. Much better quality.

No longer have the and the Aftermarket one on there adjustment is rigged with zip ties and rubber prices. Reason why I need to switch.

It’s a Phillips but I have no idea how to effectively cram it in there to adjust

I mean they make angled screwdrivers but it seems something isn’t right there, like you’re supposed to do it another way. You have no room to move it back and forth.

So I had to grab my small socket set. It takes a 5/32 or maybe the Metric equivalent. My poor eyesight couldn’t make out the find edges to even notice a socket could fit.
So ultimately you need 5/32 for the left and right then a 3” extension plus 5/32 to adjust up and down.
Seems odd never put any aftermarkets on any of vehicles that used a socket.

The adjustment points are standard both on top one on the left and one on the right with each headlight.

No google search came up with anything. Other than one individual stating he had to remove the depo lights to adjust them.
Appreciate the help

Took The Beast for a drive in the snow this morning. Put it in 2nd and let it rev a bit, compression braking. I love driving this truck in the snow. And took my snow dog for a walk. He thought I was a sled, kept jumping and pulling me.

Yup, use a small socket for mine. Not depots, but another cheap aftermarket. Eagle Eyes I think.

I didn’t need a sled on our afternoon walk, he was pulling me fine.
When I was a kid, a guy in the neighbor had a beautiful husky named Honey Bear. He would walk here around the neighborhood every evening so he and her could get exercise. Her leash was a 30 ft long piece of heavy rope. He said he made it that long so if she decided to chase a rabbit, he had a chance to get up to speed before she took all the slack out of the leash. Seen him more than once back on his heels on a snowy street getting pulled.

Yeah, usually on a walk he doesn’t pull. I have worked with him since he was a pup so he doesn’t. But as soon as we hit the snow his inner sled dog came out and he looked just like you see in the movies when they’re hooked up to a sled and rarin’ to go- jumping up in the air, hitting the ground and pulling and then jumping up in the air. He did it almost the whole walk and after about a half hour I decided to cut it short and head home. He wore me out. My daughter runs with him and after 5-6 miles he comes back with more energy than he left with.

Had it detailed (finally) last weekend and took it for a spin yesterday. Now I can see every ding and chip, but I'll look past those.

EDIT: the detailer was able to remove most of the original pinstripe remnants, but some of it stayed in the paint. Not very noticeable, though.
