Need to do that soon, too. I was programming my Boost Auto fobs and noticed the damned thing making noise.
X2! I’ve been neglecting to do this. Afraid of my headliner.... want to replace it sometime, but not yet.

not sure on the Tahoe’s, but my Yukon XL has 2 piece headliner and the seam has plugs that pull out and the one piece drops easily about 5 inches from the aspirator. Slide your hand in and swap it out easily.

So a plastic pry tool just can't pop the aspirator out of the headliner?

^^No. there is a small grill covering it that is snapped into and holds the aspirator in place. The aspirator is too big to fit through the hole. There is one electrical connection into the aspirator above the headliner.

What is this aspirator you speak of??

Nevermind. Just Googled it. I guess only an issue I'd u use the auto temps?? I never have liked using auto temp settings.
