I got the ABS module off, and hurt my back in the process. I'm really gonna be in pain tomorrow. :(
But I have to rebuild it because I keep getting an ABS warning light on the dash almost every time I drive the truck, and the code says it's a fault in the EBCM. So instead of replacing this thing at a cost of over $500 for a new one or $250ish for a "rebuilt" one, I will rebuild it myself. I already did it on my son's 99 Silverado, his was throwing the same exact fault code and I successfully rebuilt his about a month ago and no fault codes have popped up yet!

I learned a trick from one of my customers about dents--stick a deflated volleyball or basketball behind the dent--if it's in a door or quarter panel--and then inflate it slowly with an air pump. It'll pop out most of that dent. It really works. Once I did it for a door dent, and the ball actually bent the crash bar! I couldn't believe it. Give it a shot. Should work with the driver side quarter panel.
Toilet plunger is my weapon of choice, but the ball trick sound kinda genius

The clear coat on the lens ?
Everyone swears by DEPO brand projectors.

Yeah the clear coat on the actual lense is flaking off. With the projectors do you have to use special bulbs or will most bulbs work with them? I'm looking to get a 6k set to match my fogs and other lights. Or do the depos come with that 6k kinda bulb?

I'm no pro when it comes to doing paint/bodywork, but this project is more of a PITA than I anticipated. I don't know if it's the humidity or what. I mixed the crap out of the liner, but it still seems too runny. I thought it would be much thicker, and coat more heavily.

I got one coat on today...might do another one after dinner...

Drove the old 'hoe like an ambulance after my daughter decided to jump from the chair to her doll crib.... no idea what she thought she was going to do had she succeeded in jumping from the chair, mind you - but the chair slid and she split her chin open on the side of the crib... thing bled like a sieve and you could see fatty tissue. She split it damn good. My wife learned about roads she didn't know existed.

4 stitches and a grape popsicle later, and she was ready to jump again

Attagirl. My dad used to see us doing stuff and say, "I'll drive you to the hospital for that ONCE!"
