I'd assume plastidip. Maybe with some glossifier for shine.

Just regular black plastidip. I might use glossifier later. I'm on my 2nd can with 2 wheels down

Almost done. Gonna let it dry then touch up any spots. I still have 1 can left I might dip the front emblem as well

I think you should use it to black out the mesh grille, but I may be biased

Looks like I wasted $20 and a bunch of time. The dip isn't sticking to the wheels..... I'm pretty pissed

Yes. Thoroughly. Only thing I can think of is it needs to be warmer (it's in the 50s

Damn that sucks. How many coats? Finish looks uneven , should be silky smooth. Was there corrosion or rust in the pockets ?

Powder coat must be sandblasted. Paint just sanded, but if you can blast it before paint even better

Yea I do my best to clean them but they are ****** wheels. I like the style but I'll replace them eventually

Side note I'm getting new tires next weekend so I'll probably try again with a new coat after that. Maybe I'll sand the wheels and throw some primer on them..... idk
