What made you go with a deep trans pan? Your original one needed replacement? I upgraded the trans cooler instead, so just curious really.

Someone put a drain plug on mine and it leaks from there don't want to be bothered with fixing it new pans cheap enough just gonna drop the pan change the filter and top it off and be done with it, was gonna get a PML finned pan but it's the same capacity as the stock pan, my temps are good now don't tow with it so couldn't see spending $200 on that

8.1 is actually classified as a 496... Buddy had one in HS and it was a a hog. 9 mpg on a good day with a tail wind
