That might work on your rims but mine are 26 x 10's. After telling a tire shop no stick-on weights because I didn't want to see them behind my spokes, they balanced the wheels and as soon as I hit 60 it felt like the front end was coming apart. I went to another shop and relented, as long as they were black stick-ons and hidden behind the spokes. The guy called me after I dropped it off and said 2 of my tires were out of round by 10%. He said he'd balance them anyway, and now there's a tiny shake at 70-80 but that's it. My next tires will be more expensive but I'll wear these out first. They just used hammer on weights on the inside, I still have a slight shake at lower speed...and I mean super minimal maround 30mph, but I think that is the sway bar links. Of which I have had in a box in the back of my truck for like 4 months lol! I originall y ordered AC Delco end links and then decided on polyurethane links, Amazon refunded me and told me to keep the AC Delco's so i never reordered the poly bushings. Just gotta get off my ass and do them.
do you like your denali projectors?I washed the mud off and got a $12 car wash that included rain-x for the whole truck:View attachment 83631 View attachment 83635 View attachment 83632 View attachment 83636

I've never seen an NBS seat in black before but I love it
Are wheel spacers safe?
I was thinking bora spacers. i just dont know how safe they would be bouncing over rocks and through mud. i offroad it quite a bitWell-made hubcentric ones are not that bad. Just do research before making a purchase.
I wish I could do that! Is that a regular sewing machine? Are you using leather or vinyl? Looks great.DAMN IT DAVE! Gotta love running out of thread... especially literally in the middle of the top seam. Good thing that's not one of the most noticeable areas. Hopefully after I get more thread and find more time I'll be able to hide it.
Ehh, it's coming along though.

Ok so I keep hearing about geocaching and I've got a couple replica from higher elevation spots like grandfather mountain and such. But what is this you guys are doing.

Make an extra set of two and sell them
Get better ballastsYes, I do. They are aftermarket reproductions made by TYC.
I've actually put a set of HID bulbs in them without having a screwed up pattern.
I just don't like how slow the HID come on, so I put a set of Phillips 9011 HIR bulbs in them.
One thing to keep in mind about these projectors, is that they have a nice sharp cut-off and try to only put light in your lane, and the cut off also keeps light out of rear view mirrors, mostly.
I can pull up behind most taller cars, and any small SUV, and my headlights cut off the light just below their rear window.
When you have been driving cars and trucks all your life that spill their light all over the place, projectors seem dim.
But I still like mine.
I'm planing on getting some LEDs for the low beams to see how they work out.
wordI have to find the time to finish mine first lol
Changed the oil and filter, changed front diff fluid, changed rear diff fluid, cleaned out the cover and replaced the gasket. I just bought the Escalade May 31st and with 155k I figured it would be best to go ahead and change them all. Was gonna do the trans as well but when I got under and looked, it appears to be either a new or remain unit so I figured it could wait a bit. I replaced the stepper motors for the gauges (Speedo was out) and key fobs (didn't have one with purchase) the other day too. Maybe soon I can actually start modding lol.
