Realized I was getting behind on the maintenance on mine, especially with 173k miles on her. Also finally got fed up with spending too much on stuff like oil changes when I could just do it myself. So between the owner's manual and the Chilton manual, I came up with a pretty nice spreadsheet to track all the maintenance that needs to be done and when, keep track of all the services that have been performed, and calculate how much I've spent and saved by doing it myself. A few Amazon orders and trips to Harbor Freight later, and here's what I've done the past few days:
- Oil and oil filter change (RP HMX and RP filter)
- Changed spark plugs and wires (ACDelco OEM)
- Cleaned out my K&N air filter
- Got a good check on all fluid levels and conditions and ordered all the stuff to change out the fluids for the front and rear diffs, transfer case, and transmission. I plan on doing the coolant, power steering, and brake fluid in the near future, too.
- And for fun, I leveled her out with new torsion bar keys and front shock spacers, and got an alignment done.
