What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That's the thing, gauges look cool but for the price of this setup and what it can do... you just can't beat it and you don't have to hack up the center console, they have all kinds of different external mounts.



Thanks man and I will get some pictures of the mount but basically you have to hack the shit out of the plastic behind the bezel and then cut out the bezel itself which is all easy to do but there is no turning back.
What you are trying to do is mount a thick flat piece of metal or thick plastic behind the bezel with screws or bolts, then attach the tablet to that and that can be accomplished a few different ways, heavy duty double sided tape, velcro or brackets.
I am still working out the kinks right now because I am getting my power from the stereo USB and since you cannot reach the power button on the side you will need a Bluetooth remote, they make very small compact ones cheap.
I am also going to hardwire the kindle to clean it up as well.

Thanks bud I actually have an extra bezel thank god lol but like you said once your committed that's it. But now the dilemma your Nali is 03-06 mine is a 02 my bezel is different I'm gonna have to see what I have to do

Well it seems they just want a blank check- if you need to know how much it is you can't afford their $1500;grill. I hate CarId, they took my money once and never shipped my stuff then wouldn't cancel the order. Took me months to get my $$$back. Assholes.

@ScottyBoy usually has a harness or two laying around. He also makes them.

I don't have one right now. And I don't exactly "make" them. What I do is I pull the fan harness wiring and relay box from a truck in the junkyard and completely clean all the wires and pigtails, and wrap everything in brand new wire loom. So basically I refurbish them but I don't make them. They are somewhat rare since they are only on 05-06 half ton trucks and SUVs, so every time I see one in the junkyard I pull it.
