Looks good brother! would you happen to know what size bolt is used to secure the top of the fans? i was removing the bolt and it fell somewhere inside the engine compartment...we all know how that ends, drive it back and forth really fast in hopes it will fall out but is never seen again lol
Installed the 05-06 Electric Fans & Blackbear Performance tuned ECM today. What a difference converting that damn clutch fan!

How big of a difference is it? Where'd you find your fans at?

Got them off Craigslist for $100, pickup a Nelson fan harness and the tune. You can tell a difference with the clutch fan not attached.

Score! What's a Nelson harness? I know LS1 fan harnesses used to be mentioned a lot on here.

Complete harness kit to connect the fans to the computer. But you need a tune to turn those fans on. People stated you can use a tech 2, but it will not work.

I tried to get my tuner to turn electric fans on, even tho I don't have them yet, says he can't unless the fans are already in there. Personally I think that's bs!

I used a harness from www.ls1fans.com, very high quality. And Justin @ BlackBear turned on the pin in my ECM way before my fan was installed so it can definitely be done.

Did your clutch fan still work like it was supposed to? Even tho the electric fans pin was activated?
Yes, it's just a dumb mechanical fan. It didn't know anything about an ECM! It was a few weeks before I installed the electric fans and the clutch fan worked until I removed it.

Does the electric fan make a noticeable difference?
A noticeable difference in what? HP- I doubt it's much. I'm not sure if I could really tell. MPG- ditto but since my tune I drive a lot faster since it's so much more fun and quicker. But it sure makes it easier to work on the front of the engine, and it looks way better!

Added this light today home made raptor led lights..
Projectors or reflectors? I'm seeing a lot of glare.

I installed the grill light those are just hid on stock headlights that am going to get rid of soon..
