Finally wired the resistors into my LED tail lights. 9 months without Cruise Control was wayyyy too long.
Don't know how you went that long. I couldn't figure out WTF happened to my cruise when I did my lights last year, and had to fix it ASAP! I even had a resistor burn out this weekend and had to change it out to get rid of the Ricer Flash and get my cruise back.

Hell, no recovery equipment needed. It drove great, awesome traction. Why did you call my truck a pig anyway? But it was definitely fun. Got some looks for sure.

Ah I didn't mean anything negative by it. I lovingly call my XL a pig, or a bus. Bet it was fun!

Just got in from 500 miles of driving. Zero issues and ran great. Lost a weight or two from the tires but will get them rebalanced and I will baby sit them this time. All washed up from the trip and gave the wife's car a quickie too. Tire shine and everything oh yeah !

Installed a new radiator in my 03. Other one had a crack. Also found a Denali dash bezel for 8 bucks. Put it in there as well.

Is there a specific resistor to use for the tail lights ? Ohms ? Or will any one work? My tails flash too fast and of course no cruise. Thx in advance.

Pretty sure Auto Zone, O'Really, or Advanced should have them too. At least all 3 here have them on the shelf. Or other option is to buy an led flasher. That's what I did and no problems so far.

Saturday my Denali started chirping around the belt area. A little digging with a stethoscope led me to the water pump. Even though it was new in December, I decided to replace it. After installing the sound came back. Still chirping at the water pump. Further digging I found the the pulley on the power steering pump had slightly walked outward causing belt misalignment and causing the belt to chirp as it was forced to line up with the crank pull your after coming off of the water pump. I decided to replace the power steering pump since it had shafts play. Now after 2 days of on and off chasing, I'm done.

Got a few things done this weekend. Removed and reinstalled my driver's side LED fog light. When I installed it back in April I ran the power wire through the same hole as the mounting bolt and as a result it was slightly crooked. Drove my crazy but I knew that in order to fix it I'd have to unbolt it, pull the wiring apart, drill a hole for the wire and then reassemble, but I finally had the time to do it. Looks much better I think.

Other weekend projects: Installed the battery tray for the 2nd battery:

I've got most of the other parts I need minus the battery and the cables. Will work on that next week.

Also had the tires removed from the wheels I bought in March. Tried to clean up the wheels but they're still pretty yellowed.

Installed the rear stainless steel brake hoses but I admit I did not do the one that goes from the differential to the body; I couldn't see any way to get to the top fitting that's above the spare tire mount. @05Single here's a couple of pictures of the GMT900 brake upgrade from back a ways. And a shot of the rear hoses because we all know "if there's no pictures, it didn't happen" lol.
