What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It has 230k miles on it and I got all 4 for under $100. I’ve been chasing an issue of it moving side to side over large bumps on the highway. Most bushings looked good but the upper control arm bushings had some cracks in them.

Have you had a chance to drive it for a bit and see if it made a difference?

Yesterday, got my Bilstein 5100’s in the front, and replaced the upper control arm, and lower ball joint on the PS.

She rides sooo much better. These were the original shocks up front I believe. They were definitely shot. Much tighter, and she settles immediately after road bumps and humps. Even silly things like drinking from my water bottle while rolling are vastly improved. Not spilling all over myself anymore. Lol.

How hard was replacing the ball joint?

How hard was replacing the ball joint?
Couldn’t have been easier for me. My buddy had a heck of a time with the control arm though, due to the torsion bars. Have to lower down to ease the pressure on it, so you can line up the 3 bolts.
