Out of everything that can be affected by the shrapnel from a roached cam bearing, the pushrods are the least likely to be harmed. Just look at the tips to make sure they aren't scored from metal in the oil. They're probably fine. If they were sized for the cam you had, then you may or may not be able to use them if you get a cam with considerably lower or higher lift.

Don't see why not as they do directly touch the cam. Send a picture of them.
Here's most of them--they look ok.20200702_123217.jpg 20200702_123301.jpg 20200702_122900.jpg 20200702_122841.jpg 20200702_122850.jpg
Post a pic of the cam too if you can. That sucks its toast any idea what cam your going to go with this time?
I posted a pic in my 1st post. Damn thing is stuck, only comes out 1/2 way.
Pushrods should be fine, I don’t see how they could have been damaged. Awesome to see it getting worked on, it’s been a long wait hasn’t it?
Way too long!
Right!!??!!

The bearing is likely stuck on the cam and is trying to come through the next bearing which isn't going to happen easily haha. I can remember if you planned to reuse that block or not?
That's exactly what happened. I bought another motor. This one is still good tho, right? Just needs new bearings I'd think.

Don't get rid of it! Called TSP, Summit, ATK and my local machine shop looking for a 408 short block for my buddy and nobody has any because they can't find iron 6.0 blocks anymore. Partly due to covid but still keep it or bring it to me :D
