Other ones had 45k miles on them

Got some

Had a couple hub cap covers fall off(they were the cheap Chinese ones), so I bought some oem off eBay, only issue was, they weren’t chrome. Tried to spray paint chrome but no good. Bought some chrome film and they worked perfect, with the film and covers, cost me $10 each(already had rhe paint )

Went to the junkyard and got the rear wiper stop piece that someone broke on mine. Got the glovebox handle replaced and touched up the paint on the glove box, I should’ve take a before and after. Then pulled the back door panel off to see if I could figure out why it sometimes locks and unlocks but couldn’t find anything. Slowly getting the problems fixed feels good.

Started putting back together repainted Denali dash and console trim pieces. I messed up the piece that goes on top of the cup holder tray but after that, I should have a whole set repainted.

Still in process : The 4L60E I rebuilt a few years back ( and what brought me to this forum ) began slipping badly. I decided not to rebuild the pump back then and that decision came back to bite me in the arse. I found a nice low miles one in the junkyard that passed all the areas which @NickTransmissions said to check. This time. I'll do the rear main seal too, and probably the oil pressure sensor. Hope to have it up and running again by the weekend.

Rarely use the Hoe anymore, change the battery under warranty due to it being dead. Will tackle the mode actuator tomorrow morning, still need to get the truck inspected for the yearly and rego. Been expired since March of this year.

I used these two for the trim. I've yet to find the color for the tan interior.

Im not sure if that'll last. Isn't that paint made for exterior?
I just went and checked and the can doesn't say interior or exterior, just trim and accessories. I did a set about three years ago and besides some imperfections from technique, it's holding up really well so far.

I can not remember which thread, but I got the tips from this forum. I think the key is lightly scoring the super smooth plastic first, then using that adhesion promoter before painting.

I believe that @Rocket Man passed along that tip.

What interior paint did you guys use?
After a bunch of searching this is what some used and I bought a can to touch up my glove box. It matches very well to the darker tan. Kinda pricey for paint. Washed parts with dish soap, let dry and did a few light coats. So far it sticking great, even had to get onto the kids for putting their feet on it but it still looks good.
